Two people were found dead in a residential fire in Cabot early Monday morning, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s office said in a statement yesterday afternoon.
At about 3 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a structure fire at 2213 Lusby Court in Cabot in northeast Pulaski County where three volunteer fire departments responded to the fire.
The sheriff’s deputies found a camper trailer on fire and, when it was extinguished, discovered two bodies. Detectives from the sheriff’s office began a fire and death investigation and the bodies were taken to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for identification as well as a determination of the cause and manner of death.
