LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Road crews are working to fix an epidemic of potholes in central Arkansas.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation announced multiple lanes that, if weather permits, will be closed for road repair, including Interstate 30 in Saline County and Highway 67 in Jacksonville.
ARDOT officials stated that the westbound lanes of I-30 between Highway 67 and Highway 70 in Saline County will be experiencing alternating single-lane closures from 5 a.m. to noon on Friday.
Officials also said that northbound lanes on Highway 67 between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville will be experiencing similar closures from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday for pavement repairs.
Both areas will see crews alternating between the inside and outside lanes while they work on pavement repairs, including fixing potholes.
