Two Jefferson County jail inmates, including one held on a capital murder charge, remained at large today, and a reward is being offered for their apprehension.

“They are still on the loose. We continue to follow any leads and continue looking at places we’ve looked at before,” Maj. John Bean of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said today.

Bean said authorities have gotten “some good leads.”

Jatonia Bryant, 23, and Noah Roush, 22, were discovered missing from the jail  Monday morning, according to the sheriff’s website.

Bryant was jailed on a capital murder charge. Roush was jailed on residential burglary and theft of property charges. According to The Associated Press, the sheriff’s office said Roush also was a suspect in a homicide.

The sheriff’s office is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the apprehension and return to custody for each of the men.

“Both individuals are to be considered dangerous and should only be approached [by] law enforcement personnel,” the sheriff’s office warned in an earlier news release.

Anyone with information about Roush or Bryant can reach the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at (870) 541-5351. Or, contact the Metropolitan Emergency Communication Association at 870-541-5300, Captain Yohance Brunson (870)692-3376 or Lieutenant Terry Wingard (870) 510-0395.
