Jury rejects Little Rock officer’s claim of race and sex discrimination, awards her no damages

A Black Little Rock police officer’s claim that she was forced into a career-obstructing transfer due to her race and sex was rejected Thursday by a Pulaski County jury that learned she’s been promoted to lieutenant, her salary has consistently risen and the only tangible damages claim she made — the loss of a take-home car — lasted only a few months before she again qualified for one.  Read More
