JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – Authorities in Jacksonville said an early morning house fire left one person dead on Tuesday.
Jacksonville police and fire crews responded to a fire at 2710 Northeastern Avenue at 5:41 a.m. When they arrived, authorities said one person outside of the home told them another person was still inside.
Authorities said officers attempted to search for the person inside the home but were unable to locate them due to the heavy smoke.
When Jacksonville Fire Department crews arrived, they were able to search inside the home and put out the fire. Officials said 30-year-old Tiffany Hibbs was found dead inside the home.
According to Jacksonville police, no foul play is suspected at this time.
