Jacksonville police arrest two in connection with Finch Road shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – Officials with the Jacksonville Police Department said two arrests have been made in connection with a Monday afternoon shooting that left two people injured.

Authorities identified the suspects as 21-year-old Mikah Jones and 20-year-old Alisha Jones, both from Conway.


Jacksonville police investigating Monday shooting on Finch Road

On Monday night, Jacksonville police said officers responded to a shooting call in the 100 block of Finch Road at 4:47 p.m.

According to police, two victims were taken to a local hospital and are currently stable with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said Mikah Jones and Alisha Jones are each facing multiple charges, including first-degree battery, aggravated assault and hindering apprehension.


Little Rock police arrest man suspected of killing homeless man on West Markham Street

A spokesperson with the Jacksonville Police Department said the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
