Jacksonville police arrest man accused of shooting neighbor after argument

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – Police in Jacksonville arrested a man who is accused of shooting his neighbor after an argument.

According to the Jacksonville Police Department, officers were called to a shooting Monday evening on Plummer Street.


Little Rock residents react to uptick in homicides compared to 2024

Police said 65-year-old Herman Williams shot his neighbor twice after an argument. The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

Williams is facing charges of first-degree battery, three counts of terroristic act and possession of controlled substance schedule VI.


Two Homicides five weeks from each other at Labette Manor Drive apartments in Little Rock

Williams is being held in the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility without bond.
