Video: Looking at Clinton Presidential Center’s impact on downtown Little Rock on center’s 20th anniversary
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Broadway producers, writers and performers will be at the Clinton Presidential Center on Thursday for a special event.
The center will host an event giving the story behind the Broadway musical “Suffs” at 6 p.m. March 27 at the Arkansas Repertory Theater, 601 Main Street, Little Rock. In-person attendees can RSVP online or tune in at the event website. ASL interpretation will be available.
The musical tells the story of women gaining the right to vote and the fight to get there.
“SUFFS” producer Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, writer and star Shaina Taub and actress Tsilala Brock will discuss the creation and development of the Tony Award-winning musical. Will Trice, Executive Director of the Arkansas Repertory Theater, will moderate.
Taub and Brock will also give an exclusive performance from “SUFFS.”
The critically acclaimed musical is preparing for a national tour in September 2025.
The event is a Clinton Presidential Center Presents program, a partnership between the Clinton Foundation, the Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas & the Clinton Presidential Library and a Woman’s History Month program for the Arkansas Repertory Theater.
