CABOT, Ark. – Officials with Cabot Public Schools said a shooting happened Friday morning near Eastside Elementary School.
According to a social post by the school district, the shooting happened at a home across the street from the school. School district officials said the victim ran to the school parking lot for help.
Officials said the incident appears to be a domestic situation.
The shooting did not involve the school, and all students and staff are safe, officials said.
School officials said the suspect is in custody.
The Cabot Police Department has not released any information on the shooting.
